There are many facilities that serve this community.  Among these include: several churches, a village hall which runs social and community events, and a children's play area.

The Parish Council

The Parish Council is made up of 6 Councillors who represent the village on various matters.

We are effectively the first tier of local government, the other two being Norfolk County Council and North Norfolk District Council.

We meet at 7pm usually on the last Tuesday of every other month at the West Raynham Village Hall, The Street, West Raynham.

The public is very welcome to attend our meetings.

We're responsible for:

  • The upkeep of the green spaces behind and adjacent to West Raynham village hall.

  • The children’s play area

  • The upkeep of the village green & village sign

  • Benches and seating

  • Street lighting

  • Bus shelters

  • Litter bins and dog bins

  • We also make comments on all planning applications, although the District Council or County Council make the decision

  • Providing general maintenance around the village
